Truc
Truc exemplifies the South End's art chic with its crisp interior design and table settings and exciting, nouveau French cuisine, complemented by top notch service. The goat cheese appetizer, served in an almond pastry, is the king of the ubiquitous, chevre-based appetizers. Though I prefer and recommend Hammersley's in this area and food class, Truc is a good alternative if you want a quieter, more private ambience. Solarium in back. (4/98)
